Colleen Quigley Women’s Crisis Center is a shelter for Domestic Violence victims. Not only do they provide a safe environment they provide the basic of life necessities, such as meals, clothing , transportation, etc. They also have accommodations for abused men.

 

Children’s Justice Center & Division of Child and Family Services/

Family Support & Advocacy Center - The Children's Justice Center is a home-like facility that serves children who might have been physically and/or sexually abused.  The center is designed to help children feel safe and comfortable.  The atmosphere is child-friendly and the interview rooms are designed with children in mind. Children visit the Center while investigators meet with them and their parents. They also provides many services for family support. If a parent needs to go to the hospital, court, etc. or just needs a break, and has no one to care for the children (child) the Children Justice Center will provide care for up to 72 hours with no charge. They also provide parenting classes or information on parenting skills. They have had families that have lost everything in a fire and they provided life’s necessities, such as clothes, toys, food, etc.
